MASTHEAD:

KATE THOMAS wood// CO-FOUNDER, CO-EDITOR, PUBLISHER

Kate attended Cornell University and Goldsmiths in London for several years studying architecture and design, but graduated from neither. She got better at taking herself seriously when she became a mom and now holds a master's degree in creative writing from City. She is a fan of objects in miniature, vending machines with books and people who laugh a little too loud. She owns Sixpenny & Co., an illustrated literary press.

ELIZABETH LEONARD// Co-Founder, Co-Editor, Events

After graduating from NYU, Elizabeth joined the "real" world with a proper job, a house, a car, and a promise to write when she was a stable adult. She turned in her resignation for this life in exchange for one she was better at. She moved to London to study at City University and write her first novel. She loves weeping willows, the drumming of the Thames, and a cheap spiral-bound notebook with a good pen. She is a Teaching Artist for Community Word Project in NYC.
